Editorial articles may contain analysis and synthesis of published material.

Such articles would be classified (and rejected) by Wikipedia as original research. However such articles should still be based on verifiable, reliable sources and written, as far as possible with a neutral point of view.

Editorial articles may also express the opinion of the SfS editor, in a similar way to editorials in newspapers.
